Britney Fan Site Says: Enough!

Britney Spears is starting to piss off her fans. The webmaster of WorldOfBritney.com says he's shutting down the site because of the panty-challenged celeb's antics.

"As Britney keeps losing her identity and credibility within fans and industry people, so is WoB. We're moving on to greater, bigger things," says Ruben Garay in a press release that hit the Internet today. "I would therefore like to announce the permanent shut down of World of Britney.com beginning January 31st, 2007."

Of course, this is great publicity for the site and for Garay who's planning on launching a celebrity blog.  I need to do a tour of message boards to see how many disillusioned Britney fans there really are out there (poor dears.)

Part of Britney's image problem is that she hasn't recorded or toured in the last few years, being busy with her deadbeat soon-to-be ex-husband and popping out two kids.

If she comes out with a hit album, all will be forgiven, I'm sure.
