Sonomi's Exhibition

My friend Sonomi Kobayashi-Clemente will be exhibiting her artwork as part of a group show at the Concepto Gallery in Brooklyn starting July 14th. Sonomi describes her approach to drawings and paintings this way: "In order to demonstrate time change I use multi-layering. These layers represent links to the past, present, and future. I explore the connection between the inside of the human body and the universe through the use of images and symbols found in space and the ocean. My frequent use of round and circular objects reflects their common occurrence in the universe. " The show is through July 30th.
