¡Dile Weeeepa! Miss Puerto Rico Crowned Miss Universe

I know beauty contests are so last century, but I thought my Boricua readers might be interested to know that Miss Puerto Rico has been crowned the new Miss Universe:

Zuleyka Jerris Rivera Mendoza,18, is the 5th Miss Puerto Rico to win the title. The two winners before her were Denise Quiñones who won in 2001, and Dayanara Torres who won in 1993.

Puerto Rico is second only to the U.S. which has had seven contestants win Miss Universe.
