Girls Gone Wild

So Miss Nevada USA Katie Rees has been stripped of her crown. She was axed from the Miss USA pageant because of naughty photos that turned up on the Web. 

Now, see the picture at left?

That's NOT one of the pictures that got her in trouble. That's an official photo that I saw on the Miss Nevada USA Web site a few minutes after the announcement was made (it's since been removed). This copy of it is via the National Ledger

The photos that got her in trouble appear to be Rees at a bar with a couple of girlfriends pulling down their pants and exposing their thongs, flashing a breast here or there, and kissing each other. She was apparently 17 at the time.

I'm not saying it's the most ladylike, classy behavior in the world, but jeez, Miss USA ain't the Nobel Prize either.

Rees won the Miss Nevada USA title in the first place by strutting her stuff in that skimpy bikini. And although she's not exposing a breast, she's actually wearing much less in her official photo than what she wore in the "girls gone wild" photos.

And this photo is from the Miss USA Web site. It's Tara Conner, the young lady that The Donald forgave for underage drinking and partying in nightclubs (I think she kissed a girl too...it's a theme.)

Again, that's an official photo from the pageant Web site. Miss USA, in a bikini, posing provocatively on a fur rug.

I mean, who are these people kidding?
